meet chloe—

Hi! I am Chloe, a pediatric OT with 14 years of experience, hailing from Long Beach, CA.  I am a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, meaning I can support you on your breastfeeding/bodyfeeding journey, but would refer more complex cases to an IBCLC.

For the past 10 years, I have worked with babies and children with a variety of medically complex diagnoses, and have had the opportunity to support these patients from birth through adolescence. I have enjoyed working with many infants and their families around feeding and development. I love how OT allows me to holistically address underlying physical issues, as well as the intricately tied mental health and overall health of the family that affects feeding. It is important to me to provide culturally sensitive care that honors the life experiences of the families I work with.

I personally came to focus on the postpartum period and maternal health after my own experience with miscarriage, cesarean birth, difficulty with breastfeeding, and postpartum mood disorder. This launched a period of learning, healing and self-discovery. I pursued training as a postpartum doula, specifically trained with a holistic, anti-racist, LGBTQ+ affirming program. I found a key piece to supporting families is encouraging confidence with feeding and pursued the Certified Breastfeeding Specialist training. I have experience with my own son, and myself, with tethered oral tissues (TOTs) and airway health, highly value body work for healing, and a whole-person approach when addressing health.

Outside of providing care to my awe-inspiring clients, I can be found grooving and dancing, walking in nature, noticing the little synchronicities and silly moments in life. I love spending time with my fiery 6-year-old son and husband who grounds us. I am very excited to be working at humbled by motherhood and look forward to supporting you and your family.
