classes & groups
Our classes and groups are designed to support families in Los Angeles through pregnancy, early infancy, and the transition into parenthood. Whether you’re preparing for breastfeeding, looking for guidance on early development like tummy time, or seeking meaningful community, our offerings provide evidence-based education and relational support.
We focus on whole-family care — feeding, development, mental health, and connection — because early parenthood is not just about learning information, but building confidence. Our classes are led by licensed professionals and experienced facilitators who understand the real challenges families face in the prenatal and postpartum periods.
Families join us virtually across Los Angeles or in person at our Carson office.
Group Prenatal Breastfeeding
(virtual via Zoom)
Our group prenatal breastfeeding class is designed for expectant parents in Los Angeles who want to feel informed, confident, and prepared before their baby arrives. This is not a generic breastfeeding lecture — it’s an interactive, evidence-based class that helps you understand how feeding works in real life.
We cover how milk production works, how to recognize effective feeding, common challenges in the early weeks, and how feeding is influenced by birth experiences and more. You’ll also learn practical skills for positioning, latch, and troubleshooting — with space to ask questions specific to your body, your baby, and your goals.
Because feeding doesn’t happen in isolation, this class also addresses what support looks like in the postpartum period and when to seek additional help. Many families take this class as their primary prenatal breastfeeding class in Los Angeles because it bridges education with real-world application.
This class is ideal for first-time parents, parents who had a difficult feeding experience previously, or anyone who wants a thoughtful, supportive introduction to breastfeeding before birth. Classes are held virtually on the third Saturday of each month, making them accessible throughout Los Angeles and beyond.
Early Infant Development & Tummy Time Support
(in-person at Carson office)
Many parents are told that tummy time is important — but not how to do it in a way that actually supports development. Families often seek tummy time help when their baby resists being on their belly, has feeding challenges, tightness, or seems uncomfortable with movement.
In our work with families, we approach tummy time as part of whole-body development, not a checklist to complete. Head shape, feeding coordination, muscle tone, and nervous system regulation all influence how a baby tolerates movement and positioning.
Through our classes, groups, and referrals, we help parents understand what tummy time should look like at different ages, how to adapt it for babies who struggle, and how to integrate movement naturally into daily routines. This guidance is especially helpful for families navigating reflux, oral-motor challenges, torticollis, or general developmental concerns.
If you’re looking for tummy time help in Los Angeles, our education and community-based offerings provide a supportive starting point — and when needed, we help families identify appropriate next steps for individualized support.
