bodywork for baby
gentle & effective methods for feeding, movement & comfort
what is bodywork?
Bodywork is a hands-on therapy that gently supports your baby’s natural movement, feeding ability, and overall comfort. It works with the skin, fascia, and muscles to release tension, restore symmetry, and improve function.
Your baby’s body is incredibly wise—it already knows what it needs to feel better. Through skilled, gentle touch, bodywork can help rebalance tissues, support optimal development, and address feeding challenges. Read more in the bodywork blog post.
Does Your Baby Need Bodywork?
If your baby is experiencing any of the following, bodywork can help:
Feeding Challenges – Difficulty latching, painful breastfeeding, tongue/lip/cheek ties, restricted jaw movement (not opening wide to latch)
Tension from Birth – C-section, vacuum or forceps delivery, long pushing phase, breech positioning
Head & Neck Concerns – Torticollis, flat head (plagiocephaly), head turning preference
Digestive Discomfort – Reflux, colic, excessive gas, difficulty soothing
Body Asymmetry – Uneven movement patterns, stiffness, or difficulty lying comfortably on both sides
